101 Alpacas Ranch - Logo

Contacts

Located right on Hwy 101 in the heart of Prunedale, California, the ranch is easy to find. Visitors to the ranch all remark that they drive by the ranch each day and "just had to stop by and find out what those cute little creatures were." With 32 huacayas peacefully grazing in the pasture in full view of the highway. Some of the alpacas at the ranch are owned by other alpaca breeders who are realizing the benefits of alpaca ownership, and are agisitng their animals with the Rabe's while they build their own herds.

Starting your own Herd!

Alpaca Tours:

I'm sorry to say that will not be giving any more alpaca tours.  I truly enjoyed spending time with everyone and sharing our lovely herd of alpacas.  Thank you to all!  Sincerely, Vicki

Directions

From North (San Francisco Bay Area): Drive south on hwy 101. Watch for the interchange for Monterey/Castroville, at this point you are about 3 to 5 minutes from us.  You will stay on Hwy 101 continuing south but stay in the slow lane.  Watch for BLACKIE ROAD, there is a turn lane to get into at that point.  The signs say to take the turn at 10 mph, really do take that turn at 10 mph as it is very sharp!  This will take you to a stop light where you will turn left & go over the overpass.  The road will dead end & you will turn left again; this will take you back to Hwy 101 North.  Merge onto Hwy 101 North & go about eight tenths of a mile.  You will see large power towers & a yellow emergency call box with the blue call box sign.  Start to get onto the shoulder of the road as our driveway is directly after that call box (you are pulling off the Hwy right into our drive way).  You will see white fences and the alpacas as soon as you pull into the driveway.  If you don’t see me at the gate just give me a call at 831-214-7735.
